Transcriptional Unit 4 in Synthetic Operon for Pterostilbene Production

This composite part is the fourth transcriptional unit (TU) of the 4-gene synthetic operon constructed for pterostilbene production from L-tyrosine as precursor. This part includes a linker (replacing promoter) and an RBS (BBa_K4388011), a Vitis vinifera resveratrol O-methyltransferase mutant (BBa_K4388004), and a strong double forward transcriptional terminator (BBa_B0015). This composite part was assembled via JUMP type IIS assembly whereby the three above-mentioned basic parts were ligated into the pJUMP29-1D vector.
